BOCC LinkedIn Weekly Checklist

A practical weekly routine for Zack to execute the LinkedIn strategy in ~2 hours/week.

Monday (15 min)

Tuesday Morning at BOCC (during the event)

Tuesday Afternoon (20 min, post by 12-1 PM)

This is the non-negotiable post. If nothing else happens this week, this one always goes out.

Tuesday Evening (10 min)

Wednesday or Thursday Morning (20 min, post 8-9 AM)

Daily Engagement Habit (10 min/day, Tue-Fri)

Friday (15 min, post 10-11 AM)

Weekend

Rest. No posting needed.

Batching Tips

Batch your asks on Tuesdays in person

Tuesday morning is when people are warm and present. That is when you:

Batch your writing on Tuesday afternoon

You already have the photos, the headcount, and the moments fresh. Draft all three posts for the week in one sitting (~45 min total):

  1. Tuesday recap (publish immediately)
  2. Mid-week post (schedule or save as draft)
  3. Friday post (schedule or save as draft)

Batch your engagement in one daily block

Do not check LinkedIn all day. Pick one 10-minute window (morning coffee is natural) to do your 3-5 comments and reply to anything on your posts.

Keep a running list of Spotlight candidates

After each Tuesday, add 1-2 names of people who had a good story or moment. When it is Spotlight week, you already know who to ask instead of scrambling.

Weekly Time Budget

Block Time When
Monday prep 15 min Anytime
Tuesday capture During the event (no extra time) 7:30-9 AM
Tuesday writing + posting 45 min After lunch
Tuesday evening replies 10 min Evening
Mid-week post 20 min Wed/Thu morning
Friday post 15 min Friday morning
Daily engagement (x4) 40 min total 10 min/day Tue-Fri
Total ~2 hours/week

The key insight: Tuesday morning is the content engine. Almost everything you need for the whole week comes from being present and capturing what happens. The rest is just writing it down and posting it on a schedule.
